I usually choose the free options, which usually take around 1-3 days for completion. However, all of my linked bank accounts did not appear in the bottom list and I had to join to a bank account.
Despite having many problems in the past with PayPal over the years, I’m using PayPal to complete a number of transactions for business. However, this time I ran into issues with PayPal. Last week, I was not able to withdraw the balance from the bank account I have.
This was really odd since when I checked my wallet to look up all bank accounts linked to my cards, nothing was showing up. The bank account was gone on the page for withdrawals. I was thinking there was a problem with it, and so attempted taking all the bank accounts off before adding them back. I completed the steps to log into my bank account and then select the accounts I wanted to link and then tried to link these accounts with my Paypal account. But, an error message was displayed: ” Sorry, we are unable to link your bank account at this time.”
I tried several times and became so annoyed after a few days because I was unable to withdraw my the current balance or accept new payments from my customers. My account was suddenly unreliable since there was no bank account connected to it. I went to my email to find out what limitations were there to my account, however there was no message from PayPal. I also tried to make purchases using my PayPal balance, and it was fine. The option to transfer funds to my debit cards is still accessible, however I did not want to use it due to the one per cent cost.
I reached their customer support through PayPal Assistant. PayPal Assistant tool which is like live chat support. However the responses were extremely slow, and often I had to wait for 3-4 hours to receive an answer. I responded a couple of minutes later, but they quickly were gone and likely I’d need to wait for hours or days for a response. I was frustrated and made a call to customer support. Their customer service was quicker and it took only two minutes to solve the problem.
In the end, PayPal thought that one of my transactions was not normal due to the greater amount and the fact that it was from an unidentified user. Thus, their security program was activated and temporarily stopped my withdrawals. The issue was solved with a simple verification. They texted my mobile with a six-digit number, and I relayed it to the customer support. Then I was able join my account to my bank and withdraw the balance with no issue.
