If you’re using a data plan that is limited ensure that your iPhone does not use expensive Cellular information to send Photos to the iCloud. Below are the steps needed to stop iCloud Photos from using Cellular Data on your iPhone.

Once the option to use iCloud Photos is turned on when you enable iCloud Photos on your iPhone and iPad, all photos and Videos you record on your device will be immediately transferred to iCloud and can be accessible on all of your devices.

Although this feature automatically saves all your photos to iCloud However, those with Limited Data Plans can get seriously burned if the iPhone uses Cellular Data while uploading Photos to iCloud.

Therefore, it is necessary to prevent iPhone users from using costly Cellular Data to upload Photos to iCloud.

Prevent iCloud Photos From Using Cellular Data on iPhone

iPhone makes it very simple to turn off or on Cellular Data Usage while uploading Photos to iCloud.

1. Open Settings on your iPhone.

2. On the Settings screen, scroll to the bottom and click on Photos.

3. On the Photos screen, scroll down , and tap Cellular Data.

4. On the next screen, switch the toggle adjacent to Cellular Data to OFF position.

Following this change After this change, your iPhone will not utilize Cellular Data to upload photos to iCloud.

Videos and photos you take with your iPhone are only uploaded to iCloud at the time you connect your iPhone is connected to a WiFi Network.
