How to Start Samsung Galaxy Phone in Safe Mode

If you find that the Samsung Galaxy Phone is not working properly, try putting the Android Phone in Safe Mode and check if it is able to start and work normal.

Enable Safe Mode on Samsung Phone

As stated above, putting an computer in safe Mode is typically the first method to determine that the issue is due to a newly installed app.

If you launch Samsung Phone in Safe Mode all downloaded apps are temporarily shut down and only the essential services and the pre-installed default Apps running.

If the Phone is operating normal in Safe Mode it is confirmed that the issue is caused by an App that were recently downloaded on your Phone.

It is the next thing to do: determine the incompatible or problematic App and then either delete or disable this specific app on your gadget.

1. Start Samsung Phone in Safe Mode

It is easy to start your Samsung Galaxy Phone in Safe Mode by following the steps listed below.

1. Turn OFF your Android Phone.

2. With the phone switched off, hold and press your Volume Up Button and turn off with the power Button.

3. Continue holding the Volume Button and then release the Power Button until you see your phone start to show the Samsung Logo.

4. Release the Volume Down Button once you can see that the display is fully loaded and in Safe Mode.

If your device is in Safe Mode, it will clearly show that Safe Mode badge in a black box that is located in the bottom-left edge of your screen.

Alongside the Safe Mode badge, you might also receive an email confirming that your device is put into Safe Mode.

Troubleshoot issues using Safe Mode

If your device starts up and operates normally , even in Safe Mode it’s most likely the issue is caused by the latest application that you installed.

To confirm, turn off all installed Apps for the Phone and then enable each one at a time until you locate the App which causes the issue to your device.

After the app that is causing the problem has been discovered, you are able to remove or disable the app on your Phone. This will fix the issue on your device.

You can deactivate or delete the app through settings > application manager > Switch to the Downloaded tab, and then select the App you wish to disable or delete.

Next, you can select on the Uninstall option to uninstall the app from your device.

If you are not sure you wish to uninstall this App on your mobile, choose the Force Stop or Disable option.

Disable Safe Mode on Samsung Phone

The only thing you have to do to turn off the Safe Mode for Samsung as well as any Android Phone is to simply Press and hold the Power Button and then select the Restart option from the pop-up menu that pops up.

Another method to get from Safe Mode on Android Phone is to open Notifications (Swipe down) and then tap upon the Safe Mode notification.

When you click on the Secure Mode Notification, you’ll immediately be greeted with a pop-up window that offers the option of resetting your phone normal.
